We don’t really know! It’s not something that science has worked out so its very much based on your personal belief.
Some religions have the belief that your soul goes to another place (eg Heaven) or that you reincarnate (which means your reborn on Earth in a different body). Others think that the activity in your brain can’t be destroyed so it stays around after death (sinking into the ground or moving into nearby living things).

Every culture and religions has different ideas. However I personally don’t believe in a religion so I don’t know what happens, maybe the religions are right, or maybe nothing happens! its impossible to tell.

This is tough to answer – in the end, it’s not something we know a lot about.

Religions and cultures have different ideas about this. I think knowing what happens to you after death is a comforting thing, but I really don’t know the answer, and this is not something we can just test in the lab. For now, everyone has this opinions about this, and that’s okay. Maybe one day we’ll know.

No one knows for sure. Probably, the only way we would know would be if the dead communicated with us, but so far no one has managed to see this in a laboratory. It’s possible that ghosts hate labs. Assuming that people have the same personality after death, this seems extremely unlikely: it’s estimated that 107 billion people have ever lived: that’s 100 billion more than the current world population. You would think at least one person would want to communicate with us!
