I love how seemingly unrelated things end up connected when we learn more about them! For example, the mathematical equations governing the conduction of heat through a metal bar are almost exactly the same as the equations describing a quantum particle!

I really like the way Einstein’s theory of general relativity works – it fits together beautifully. You start by noticing that the weight you feel when pushing someone is the same as the weight they have under gravity, and you end up with a complete theory of space and time.

I don’t come up with theories but it’s really fun to test them – I get to check if what we see in experiments matches what the theories say.

I like learning about new things and new theories. Everyone has a different way of thinking so they look at the same problem in a different way and get different ideas on how to solve them. I like being able to contribute my ideas to help solve problems!
