• Question: What inspired you to be a scientist?

      I think there wasn’t any particular event that inspired me. When I was young my Dad would get the New Scientist magazine which would have little articles about the most interesting science that had been done that month. I would read it and he would explain any bits I didn’t understand. Reading that showed me that there is still so much that humans don’t know about the universe, other planets, or even our own world!
      I just wanted to find out new things and share them with people, and I especially loved space so that’s what I ended up studying.
