I think my personal highlight is when I had what I think is a truly new idea — something that nobody had ever thought of before. We haven’t fully worked it through yet so I can’t be certain, but it’s still an incredible feeling!

For me it was presenting my ideas at a conference, and people thought they are good ideas. Validation from your peers is really important!

For me, it was the first time I ever worked at CERN! I was 17 years old and it was also my first time abroad. I loved the experience and it really cemented my dream of becoming a particle physicist!
