• Question: Would you rather go back or forward in time?

      I think I’d rather go forward — if we could time travel I think that going backward has too much potential to mess things up! I’d hate to go back in time, then return to the present to find that everything’s different…

      That’s a really tricky question – I think I would find it really sad to be alive at a point when everyone I know is dead. Plus, I’m already time travelling at a rate of 1 second per second. Maybe if it was the really far future I would be up for it.

      Going into the past would be fascinating – often when you read about people in history books it’s difficult to imagine what their lives were really like. There are some historical figures it would be really fun to meet! A book I read recently that had some interesting ideas about time travel was The Rise And Fall of D.O.D.O, by Neal Stephenson and Nicole Gallard:

      I would rather go forward!
      There is a lot of interesting ideas and research going on now, I would love to see how that unfolds in the future. Plus I think I would like to see if we colonise other planets in the future or how we evolve as humans!
