Question: what would you do is you loved science but you had an exam and were scared to screw it up?

So first thing, I was terrible at exams! I would be so nervous in the days up to an exam and didnt believe in my ability – my poor parents always had to build my confidence back up. I found it very difficult to think of the key words to explain things even if I knew the answers.
So, its completely normal to be scared of exams but dont let it get to you too much! You can do it! If you prepare enough before you will be fine.
But if you do, there are other routes to a career in science than through your traditional A-level to university route. For example, there are apprenticeships that some science companies offer and from there you can go into university if you wanted. Theres also Btec’s and other ways to get a career in science. So if youre passionate about it there will likely be a way!
