I found biology the hardest science to learn when I did it at school! I think it was because it seemed to have more facts to memorise than chemistry or physics, which were a bit more mathsy. My advice would be to try and get interested in the things that you’re learning about. If you find it interesting it’s much more likely that information will stick in your head, and you’ll probably want to learn more too. A lot of the time, for me at least, some bits of biology seemed boring. But a lot of the time that was because I expected it to be boring — when I looked at it with a more open mind, and the intention that I was going to find interesting bits, I found that it all of a sudden became a lot more appealing to me. Maybe this is just my experience, but that’s what worked!

Being interested really helps, because then it makes it fun to learn rather than a chore. But if you genuinely aren’t interested then just doing problems and setting aside time to do the work instead of procrastinating helps a lot. (The hardest bit of doing homework is starting it, once its started you just want to get it done so it makes it much easier to finish)
If you are doing GCSE’s I would suggest going through the past papers and seeing what sort of questions they ask, and how they ask them.
If you just want to learn some interesting stuff about biology there are youtube channels like SciShow that will do videos about all sorts of science things, they are good at explaining things and often have visuals to explain certain concepts.
