I always liked science at school, but it was when I was 13 years old that I new I wanted to become a scientist. This was when the machine that I work on, called the Large Hadron Collider, started up. I learned about the work the scientists do there by seeing the media coverage and this really inspired me! I also had a great physics teacher at school and have had fantastic supervisors since, which really cemented my dream of becoming a particle physicist 🙂
